Long-Term Care: Keeping Your Brows Fresh

After your PMU brows have fully healed, a few simple habits will help keep them looking defined and long-lasting:

  • Apply SPF daily. Sun exposure is the main cause of fading — protect your brows with SPF 30 or higher.

  • Go gentle with skincare. Avoid exfoliants, retinol, and strong acids directly over your brows.

  • Keep the skin healthy. Moisturize lightly and keep the area clean to support pigment retention.

  • Avoid over-grooming. Only remove stray hairs outside the tattoo shape — no waxing or threading over the area.

  • Plan for touch-ups. A refresh every 12–18 months keeps your shape and color perfect.

Consistent care makes your brows last longer, look sharper, and stay beautifully natural between visits.
